NOAA Weather Radar - Weather Forecast & HD Radar App Reviews

I’ve only had this NOAA weather app running for 5min tops (kind of early to request a review, so my review has little merit/experience). The app LOOKS pretty good so far. I’m sure I’ll be annoyed by constant links and “suggestions” of other things “you may like” in no time. Here’s hoping the solicitations don’t outweigh the functionality of the app!

Accurate, easy Interactive radar.

While the app functions rather well, the ads are so invasive to the experience that I feel assaulted while using it to check whether or not I need to worry about snow or heavy rain. Until they keep ads and “reminders” to upgrade to be less invasive, it’s such a huge detractor compared to other similar apps.

The pop-up ads are killing this app

As all things change over time, some things we like or appreciate in an app can modify. The app is great but it’s really slow. I thought it was my phone until I got a new one and it’s just as slow. I understand data rate applies but this is every time I use it. Also the pop ups can be too much. I know it’s free so deal with it. Haha. And I do but I’m only relaying how I feel about the product. I accidentally bought a subscription because instead of touching on a location to see the weather (it takes 2 taps just to see the temperature) an alert popped up and before I knew it I was the frustrated owner of a $3/week app.

The radar and other map features are improvements over similar weather apps but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to leave the map screen so I can see the weather summary.

This app is hard to figure out. Color codes of precipitation don’t make much sense. The geographic scale can be adjusted, but time is tiny point font and hard to correlate with color changes. Interface needs better layout. Text needs to be more easily read. Animation frames run too fast to evaluate the changing data set.

I expected better.

This app helps me to know if something is going on with the weather put the adds really annoying but if your reading this you had to get this app

This app would be a lot better if the ads weren’t so annoying. But overall it does its job well!

Now it has a LOT of pop up ads and is very slow to load

The app just shows a grey area over the map and acts likes it’s trying to refresh. Sad that a NOAA app is this awful. I tried changing the setting but I get the same thing.

Doesnt seem to give any weather information besides a radar. And theres other apps that do that better as well.

Good for our predictions

While it has an excellent features the price for some features is only available via premium subscription. The monthly price is really up there.

I get that this is not ad free but I don’t have five minutes to come here for four minutes and fifty five seconds of ads so your app is less than worthless so I’m deleting. Thank you. So, the developer had the balls to actually say, buy the app and well remove the ads! Ha, ha, ha. He doesnt get it. Come to my house and Ill serve you up a nice cup of hot chocolate. What?! It tastes like horse pucky, you say? Well, well, well, I say to you. Pay for it and I will give you a cup without the horse pucky in it. The Chinese have an old saying, no matter how good the fish looks, if the head stinks the whole fish is bad.
