NOAA Weather Radar - Weather Forecast & HD Radar App Reviews

I like that I get warnings in my area since I dont get to watch the news a lot. Im on the road driving and I need updates for the different areas and states I drive in.

Very nice works well and helpful

I had submitted a review and the response I got was inadequate. I was also not given an opportunity to follow up. I am looking for a detailed weather forecast written out, for example, “sunny and blustery. Wind chill blues as low as -5, rain most likely before 1pm”. The little pictures provided in this app do not provide enough detail. I am only able to get an idea of sun, cloud, rain etc.

I am addicted to weather. This app helps.

This app is hard to figure out. Color codes of precipitation don’t make much sense.. the scale can be adjusted, but time is tiny and hard to correlate with color changes. Interface needs better layout.

I get that this is not ad free but I don’t have five minutes to come here for four minutes and fifty five seconds of ads so your app is less than worthless so I’m deleting. Thank you. So I see where there is a developer reply but I even signed in again to see if I could find it but nothing here or anywhere so I guess that I get to delete again.

Love it b/c it let’s me look at the weather in other cities before I finalize my travel plans so I will know what the weather will be where I’m going and the outlook for several days which makes it easy to make decisions to still go or postpone due to possible bad weather forecasted. For example I was planning a trip to the Mountain here in Asheville, North Carolina and found that the weather was not going to be in my favor due to snow. First, I’m disabled and can’t take chances on being stuck somewhere I’m not able to get back home cause they shut down the highway when bad weather comes. Second, where I currently reside in North Carolina we get plenty of bad weather from snow, sleet, freezing rain and blizzard (due to nor Easters). I don’t take chances at home so why would I want to take chances somewhere else. I can’t take a risk of falling b/c of several medical issues that restrict my ability to get around (both knees been replaced and currently waiting on date for lower spine surgery) along with several other medical issues that restrict my ability to just go and take unnecessary chances. This app helps me make smart decisions that will best help me protect my health. Love it. It’s a 5 Star App. Highly Recommend you get it if you don’t already have it.

Now stuck with super obnoxious pop ups flashing at bottom of page...weather inaccurate anyway. (Already had pro ver but reviews terrible so didnt bother.)

The NOAA app should be in an essential application like a fire extinguisher in the home. Up to date alerts and amazing mapping allow for a very informative experience. It Is a tool that is supported by emergency responders but at the same time is useful for the every day commuter. There is no doubt in my mind it saves lives. And it’s free. Thank you NOAA.

Constant commercials appear. Cluttered screen. Sad.

Frustrated within the first few minutes of trying to use this. Cant zoom legend or headings (light grey on light grey - seriously?) in the settings which makes critical pieces of the app completely illegible and unusable; colors on the radar are just dumb - rain and snow are both forms of precipitation so why have a third color for mixed and then a fourth color to indicate light to heavy when thats already implicit in your gradients? Prompts for upgrades started within seconds of opening the app, so before I could even use the app to determine if its good, I was coming up against barriers to use - most notably upgrade demands. Demonstrate value before asking for me to commit.Info button should provide actual information, not ads. Ugh - deleting this app.

Many many interruptions for advertisements and i can not even get a forecast!!!
